As principal contractor, the brief for this project was to split an existing farmhouse into two new properties for a well-known commercial property agent. The original farmhouse required a large amount of structural work to ensure the properties longevity, we took a key role in the investigation and design of the structural works working alongside the appointed engineer. Once agreed we undertook the structural works to ensure that the works progressed smoothly. Whilst many of the period features were retained we fitted a new waste treatment and storm water drainage system, coordinated and aided new utility supplies as well as fitted new kitchens, bathrooms, ensuites and flooring. Both of the properties are now occupied and we work with the agent on routine maintenance to the properties and the surrounding land.
